
Ginny Edwards, Executive Director
Ginny Edwards holds a BS in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and a Masters in Recreation and Parks Management. With over 30 years of experience in education, she has served as a preschool and elementary teacher, a preschool and after-school program director, and a summer camp manager. Ginny specializes in program planning and classroom management and is passionate about creating enriching and engaging environments for children of all ages.

Larissa Droz, Administrative Assistant and Teacher Assistant
Larissa has over 20 years of experience teaching children ages 2 to 4 in both Brazil and the United States. This is her fourh year at St James. Her favorite part of working with young children is witnessing their curiosity and joy as they make new discoveries and grow in confidence. Larissa believes it is essential for children to learn about Jesus and begin living a Christian life from an early age. She feels truly blessed to play a part in nurturing their hearts and guiding them as they take their first steps in faith and learning.

Fawn Turner, Lead Teacher – Pre-K 4s
Fawn Turner is a dedicated Preschool Teacher at St. James’ Nursery School, where she creates a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. With an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Carroll Community College and a Bachelor’s in Human Services and Psychology from Walden University, Fawn is passionate about supporting the developmental needs of preschool-aged children and encouraging a love for learning.

Ashley Kerfoot, Lead Teacher – Preschool 2s
Ashley grew up in Howard County and went to Centennial High School. She went to Howard Community College and received her AA degree in Early Childhood Education. Ashley moved to Carroll County in 2014. She worked at Howard County Parks and Recreation in the Before and After School Care Program for about 10 years. Ashley also taught at a local Montessori preschool for several years. She is married and has two girls, ages 3 and 7. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys swimming, being outdoors, and doing crafts.
